when you land at your home

FOUND: having been discovered by chance or unexpectedly.

hi my loves, today i hope i find you warm, safe and cozy on our day together. apologies for my brief absence, some aspects of life took over my time for a few moments, but i am so glad to be here with you.

last time i was here, we talked about “home”; being it, discovering it and forming it for yourself. but what about the times when we feel just plain lost? forget the home, forget the center, and dismiss the knowledge of oneself; what about when you feel like you do not know where, or who, you are?

amidst my recent journey of life taking over my time in overwhelming ways, the topic of being lost was growing quickly in my space, and so to reflect and find my way out, i ended up being found in new and subtle ways. below are some pieces on the topic, and i hope you enjoy and find new pieces of yourself here.

i.

how can a moment time

become forever in my life

that consistent flow of light

is something i do need

in order to survive

ii.

i accept it

for what it is

and move on

that is the way it is

when you choose you

over what they think of you

prose’s pond

as the storm inside

comes to stillness and subsides

i wonder how and why

i left my warm place and landed here

just from the silly games

that man-made things like to play

thank god for the law of nature that helps me clear

the poisonous fog that tries to pollute my mind

memory lane

desert memories; this recent trip shed light on a lot of things for me; how good it feels to stand in the sun, good music, good friends, and most of all, embracing your vibrations. recently, as i mentioned earlier, i have felt a bit lost; in my body, in my purpose, in my walk of life. then, i remembered a saying from when i was a child, “to find is to lose, and to lose is to find”. it really resonates to this very moment, because as we evolve as human beings, and become ready for the next page, the next chapter, the next book in our series of life, we shed and lose certain pieces of our being, and make room for the newer, stronger pieces that will take their places. let this little section here be a warm reminder that no matter what is lost, will be found again. <3
