where have i been?

hi everyone, happy sunday. i hope you are experiencing nothing but soft & warm energy today.i know i have been absent for what feels like a lifetime, but i am finally here, in truest form, to provide insight on what happened while i was away. we have discussed so many things together, and I have covered a lot of ground on various topics on the human experience and spirituality. something i am learning in real time is that we, as beings, are souls, being carried by the vessel that was handmade for us (our bodies). in order to function properly and at our full potential, synchronicity must be had between the soul and the body.

over time, i was loosing that synchronicity based on what was happening externally, internally, and spiritually. in the end, i was loosing touch with pieces of myself, creative writing being one of those pieces; but, after some self-reflection, work and time away, here i am, once again.

i am so happy to have returned in full form, and share some pieces that i have been working on throughout the writing drought; along with some memories from recent past journeys.i thank everyone who has checked in, asked where i have been and inspired me to continue here. you are all such a light in my life. with that being said, and in being festive/on theme, here are few things on the matter of “return”.

with a glimpse of the past, to try and steal

the present day, the new moment

that we have now, write a vow

to not let the mirror define you

in today, nor tomorrow.

it only seems fitting to talk about this photo upon my return here… this was taken circa 2015 during AG’s first headlining tour, “The Honeymoon Tour” in support of her second full-length album, My Everything. SB Projects had just started the app, Fahlo, to create a space for super-fans to interact with their clients (Ariana being one, Justin Bieber and Carly Rae Jepsen being others). I had submitted an entry into a Meet & Greet giveaway contest to the show I had already got tickets for (thanks Mom for one of the greatest gifts ever), and the stars aligned in my getting to meet one of the artists of my life (and perhaps the biggest reference for me sonically). Ariana’s music has truly picked me up so many times, and has gotten me through multiple versions of my life; the sheer amount of gratitude i have for her runs so very deep. and congrats on your new dlx of eternal sunshine your return to form has been nothing short of incredible, i love you always & forever. and yes, this photo is 100% real, taken by Alfredo Flores backstage!
